Kandlspitze is 2350 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.7 km south-southeast of peak Peilstein. The nearest mountain hut is Gleiwitzer Hütte, located 4km northwest. A little further is Bichl Alm. 3 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Walcher Kees, 4 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Sandbodenkees. South of the summit is the valley Käfertal.
