The peak is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Tenneck and 6 km south-southwest from the center of Scheffau am Tennengebirge and 1.4 km north-northwest of peak Tiroler Kogel and jugo-jugoeast above the mountain pasture ehem. Grünwaldalm. The nearest mountain hut is Leopold-Happisch-Haus, located 2.0km southeast. A bit closer is Eckardalm, which is located 1.2km to the west.
