Nördlicher Glanzkopf is 2564 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km west from the center of Enzingerboden and 9 km northeast from the center of Außergschlöß. The nearest mountain hut is St. Pöltner Hütte, located 5km west-southwest. A little further is (Jhtt.). 0.5 km northeast of the peak there is lake Glanzsee. 6 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Landeggkees, 7 km south-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Sonnblickkees. The peak is located northeast of the valley Gschlößtal.
