Description:
Riffel is 2257 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km east from the center of Hüttschlag and 9 km west from the center of Wald and 1.2 km north-northwest of peak Glingspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Glettnalm, located 1.2km west-southwest. Ragglalm is also relatively close. 3 km north of the peak there is lake Tappenkarsee. South of the summit is the valley Kleinelendtal.
