Herrenköpfl is 2012 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km south-southwest from the center of Kleinarl and 7 km east from the center of Großarl. The nearest mountain hut is Loosbühelalm (Klausalm), located 0.8km west. A little further is Roßfeldalm. 4 km south-southeast of the peak there is lake Tappenkarsee. The peak is located north of the valley Kleinelendtal.
