Spielkogel is 2200 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 2 km west-southwest of peak Draugstein. The nearest mountain hut is Draugsteinalm-Schrambachhütte, located 2km east. Closer is Brandeggalm, which is located 1.9km to the east-southeast. 5 km east of the peak there is lake Tappenkarsee. South of the summit is the valley Kleinelendtal.
