Description:
Marchkareck is 2661 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.6 km north-northwest of peak Weinschnabel. The nearest mountain hut is Rotgüldenseehütte, located 5km east-southeast. Closer is bivouac Albert-Biwak, which is located 0.7km to the northeast. 0.8 km east of the peak there is lake Unterer Schwarzsee. 9 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Kleinelendkees. The peak is located north of the valley Maltatal.
