Description:
Mauskarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2505 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 4 km north-northeast from the center of Heiligenblut and 4 km northeast from the center of Winkl. The nearest mountain hut is Spatzl Alm, located 1.4km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Otto-Umlauft-Biwak. 5 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Brennkogelkees, 6 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Krumlkees. The saddle is located above the valley Großfleißtal.
