Feldkögel is 1973 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km northwest from the center of Schöder and 5 km northeast from the center of Krakaudorf. The nearest mountain hut is Kaltenbachalm, located 8km north. A bit closer is Schitterhütte, which is located 2km to the west-northwest. West of the summit is the valley Rantengraben.
