Ringkogel is 789 meter high peak in the Prealps East of the Mur. The peak is located 1.6 km northwest from the center of Ring and 1.8 km west-southwest from the center of Penzendorf. The nearest mountain hut is Schutzhaus Masenberg, located 8km northwest. A little further is bivouac Freiluft-Klasse. Northeast of the summit is the valley Schwarzgraben.
