Description:
Schattloch is a saddle at an altitude of 2033 meters and is part of the Gurktal Alps. The saddle is located 3 km south-southeast of peak Rosenkranzhöhe. The nearest mountain hut is Esebeckhütte, located 6km north-northwest. A bit closer is Pötscherhofhütte, which is located 4km to the north-northeast. South-southeast of the saddle is the valley Metnitztal.
