Schwarzkopf is 2765 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 7 km south-southeast from the center of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße and 9 km west from the center of Bucheben. The nearest mountain hut is Palfneralm, located 4km southeast. A little further is Bichl Alm. 0.7 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Grüne Lacke. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Käfertal.
