Description:
Windbachtalkogel is 2843 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 10 km north-northeast from the center of Predoi and 12 km south of Krimml. The nearest mountain hut is Richterhütte, located 1.2km west-northwest. bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is also relatively close. 3 km south-southwest of the peak there is lake Eissee. 2 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Hohenaukees, 5 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Zillerkees. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Krimmler Achental.
