Schafspitze is 2310 meter high peak with a registration box located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km south from the center of Sankt Nikolai im Sölktal and 12 km north-northeast of Krakaudorf. The nearest mountain hut is Kaltenbachalm, located 2km east-southeast. bivouac St. Nikolai am Sölkpass Ort is a bit further away. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Rantengraben.
