Elferkogel is 2351 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 3 km east-southeast of peak Mandlkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Modereggalm, located 3km northwest. A little further is bivouac Ali-Lanti-Biwak. 5 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Kesselkees, 7 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Kleinelendkees. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Kleinelendtal.
