Požgani hrib is 1009 meter high peak. The peak to which the marked trail leads is located 2 km southwest from the center of Dolga vas and 3 km west from the center of Livold. The nearest mountain hut is Koča pri Jelenovem studencu, located 1.5km north-northwest. hunting cottage Logarnica. Lovska koča is also relatively close. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Ribniška dolina.
