The peak is located 5 km southeast from the center of Naßwald and 6 km west-northwest from the center of Hirschwang an der Rax and 2 km north-northwest of peak Jakobskogel. The nearest mountain hut is Gloggnitzer Hütte, located 1.6km west. A little closer is Seilstatthütte, which is located 1.2km to the east. The peak is located in the valley Großes Höllental.
