Windschurriegel is 2186 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.8 km east of peak Graukogel. The nearest mountain hut is Graukogel Bergstation, located 1.7km northwest. A little closer is Reedseehütte, which is located 1.2km to the east. 0.6 km south-southwest of the peak there is lake Windschursee. 5 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Tischlerkarkees, 5 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Grubenkarkees. East of the summit is the valley Kleinelendtal.
