Wachthaussattel is a saddle at an altitude of 950 meters and is part of the Prealps East of the Mur. The saddle is located 1.8 km northwest of peak Stroß. The nearest mountain hut is Wittgruberhof, Jugendh., located 8km east. Closer is Schießhütte, which is located 5km to the northeast. The saddle is located north-northeast of the valley Annengraben.
