Schürferkogel

Description:
Schürferkogel is 1300 meter high peak and is part of the Hochschwab Mountains. The peak is located 3 km east-northeast from the center of Hieflau and 4 km south-southeast from the center of Mooslandl. The nearest mountain hut is Ennstaler Hütte, located 8km west. Closer is bivouac Wandau Kapelle, which is located 2km to the west. 8 km southeast of the peak there is lake Leopoldsteiner See. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Frenzgraben.
