Jägerscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2260 meters and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located 2 km west of peak Ahornspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Edelhütte, located 0.6km northeast. And Andreas-Hofer-Hütte is also close by. 7 km southeast from the saddle there is glacier Kainzenkarkees, 8 km southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Hasenkarkees. The saddle is located above the valley Stillupgrund.
