Description:
Kogelberg is 533 meter high peak and is part of the Prealps East of the Mur. The peak is located in country Austria 4 km northwest from the center of Ragnitz and 4 km south-southwest from the center of Niederschöckl. The nearest mountain hut is Oidi Hulzhitt'n, located 17km north-northwest. A bit closer is bivouac HolzCaba am Hilmteich, which is located 3km to the south-southwest. Northwest of the summit is the valley Annengraben.
