Debeli vrh is 594 meter high peak. The peak to which the marked trail leads is located 1.4 km north from the center of Dobeno and 1.4 km south-southeast from the center of Selo pri Vodicah. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Rašici, located 1.3km southwest. Brunarica Dovga dolina is also relatively close. South of the summit is the valley Ljubljansko barje.
