Bučenica is 510 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 1.0 km northwest from the center of Modrejce and 1.6 km south from the center of Tolmin. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom pod Ježo, located 5km west. A little further is bivouac Bivacco Giuseppe Zanuso. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Baška grapa.
