Mali vrh is 1931 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 5 km northeast from the center of Vrsno and 5 km east from the center of Drežnica. The nearest mountain hut is Gomiščkovo Zavetišče na Krnu, located 2km west-northwest. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča na Polju. The peak is located northwest of the lake Jezero v Lužnici. North of the summit is the valley Dolina Lepene.
