Kovček is 537 meter high peak. The peak is located 4 km east of peak Ermanovec. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Slajki, located 2km northwest. A little further is bivouac Zavetišče gorske straže na Jelencih. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Baška grapa.
