Kovk is 733 meter high peak. The peak is located 4 km southwest of peak Pasja ravan. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Goropekah, located 7km southwest. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča (pod Malo Grmado). Southeast of the summit is the valley Ljubljansko barje.
