Štivje is 436 meter high peak. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast of peak Lačna. The nearest mountain hut is Tumova koča na Slavniku, located 5km northeast. A little further is bivouac Kjukar's log cabin. Southeast of the peak there is lake Na Ravni. Northwest of the summit is the valley Valle dell'Ospo.
