Mikunca is 870 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.7 km south from the center of Podstrmec and 2 km southwest from the center of Podžaga. The nearest mountain hut is Koča na Kamnem griču, located 7km south-southeast. A bit closer is hunting cottage Lovska koča, which is located 6km to the south-southwest. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Bloke.
