Veli Badin is 359 meter high peak. The peak to which the marked trail leads is located 1.4 km north-northwest from the center of Kodolje and 1.5 km west from the center of Dvori. The nearest mountain hut is Planinarski dom Žbevnica, located 8km east. A little further is bivouac Kjukar's log cabin. The peak is located south-southeast of the valley Valle dell'Ospo.
