Vedetov vrh is 692 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 2.0 km west of peak Metulov vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Paškem Kozjaku, located 8km east-southeast. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča L.D. Golavabuka. 6 km south-southwest of the peak there is lake Družimirsko jezero. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Mislinjski jarek.
