Šteknetov vrh is 1061 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 2 km southwest from the center of Tribej and 3 km west from the center of Črneče. The nearest mountain hut is Lovska koča Košenjak, located 7km northeast. A little further is Alte Zollhütte. Southeast of the summit is the valley Mislinjski jarek.
