Pekel is 1124 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 5 km west from the center of Črna na Koroškem and 7 km west-southwest from the center of Žerjav and 4 km south of peak Kordeževa glava. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom na Peci, located 3km north-northeast. A little further is hunting cottage Koča pri Tomažu. Southwest of the summit is the valley Robanov kot.
