Hotonškov vrh is 546 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 2 km southwest of peak Metulov vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Paškem Kozjaku, located 7km east-southeast. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča L.D. Golavabuka. 4 km southwest of the peak there is lake Družimirsko jezero. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Mislinjski jarek.
