The nearest mountain hut is Chemnitzer Hütte - Rifugio Porro, located 4km south-southwest. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. West-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Trattenbachkees - Vedretta di Dentro, 1.2 km north-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Hornkees. North-northwest of the saddle is the valley Zemmgrund.
