The saddle is located 5 km southwest from the center of Valbruna/Ovčja vas and 5 km south from the center of Malborghetto. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Fratelli Grego, located 0.7km southeast. A little further is bivouac Ricovero Köpfach. The saddle is located west of the valley Valbruna.
