The nearest mountain hut is Affentalalm, located 3km south-southeast. A little further is Bacheralm. 6 km south-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Fleischbachkees, 6 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Rötkees - Vedretta Rossa.
