The saddle is located 3 km southwest of peak Monte Corona / Krone and jugo-jugozahodno above the mountain pasture Malga Tratten. The nearest mountain hut is WatschigerAlm, located 3km north. A little further is bivouac Bivacco Ernesto Lomasti. The saddle is located north-northwest of the valley Val Canale.
