Äußerer Sattelnock - Cima di Sella di Fuori is 2936 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 6 km west-northwest from the center of Weißenbach - Riobianco and 6 km north from the center of Oberlappach. The nearest mountain hut is Chemnitzer Hütte - Rifugio Porro, located 2km south. A little further is bivouac Hochferner-Biwak. 1.4 km north from the summit there is glacier Trattenbachkees - Vedretta di Dentro, 1.6 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Östlicher Nöfesferner - Vedretta di Neves Orientale. The peak is located east-southeast of the valley Schlegeisgrund.
