Richterspitze is 3052 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 1.3 km south-southeast of peak Reichenspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Richterhütte, located 1.7km east-southeast. And bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is also close by. 4 km south-southeast of the peak there is lake Eissee. 2 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Zillerkees, 3 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Schönachkees. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Zillergründl.
