The peak is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of St. Magdalena - Santa Maddalena in Casies and 7 km southwest from the center of St. Jakob and 0.4 km southwest of peak Hochkreuzspitze near the border with Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Bruggeralm, located 6km east-northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Elplan Schupfe, which is located 3km to the east-southeast.
