Mittlere Ohrenspitze is 3005 meter high peak and is part of the Rieserferner Group. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Barmer Hütte, located 0.9km north. bivouac Schießstand Jagdverein St. Jakob is also relatively close. 4 km north of the peak there is lake Sankt-Josef-See. 2.0 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Lenksteinferner - Vedretta di Sasso Lungo, 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Hochgall Ferner - Vedretta di Collalto. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Antholzer Tal - Valle di Anterselva.
