Description:
III. Hornspitze (Berliner Spitze) is 3254 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 7 km north-northwest from the center of Weißenbach - Riobianco and 8 km west-northwest from the center of St. Johann im Ahrntal - San Giovanni Valle Aurina near the border with Italy. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzensteinhütte - Rifugio al Sasso Nero, located 3km east-northeast. Alpenverein Ahrntal is a bit further away. 0.7 km west from the summit there is glacier Hornkees, 1.4 km east from the summit there is also glacier Schwarzenbachkees - Vedretta di Rio Nero. Northwest of the summit is the valley Zemmgrund.
