The saddle is located 0.5 km northeast of peak Monte Pramaggiore and southwest above the mountain pasture Malga Rua. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Nino Flaiban e Fabio Pacherini, located 1.9km north. Even closer is bivouac Bivacco Casera Pramaggiore, which is located 1.1km to the southeast.
