Forcella del Frate is a saddle at an altitude of 2211 meters located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The saddle is located 5 km southeast from the center of Caralte and 6 km southeast from the center of Perarolo di Cadore. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Tita Barba, located 5km north. A bit closer is bivouac Casera Laghet de Soto, which is located 1.7km to the east-southeast. East of the saddle is the valley Val Cimoliana and a marked path leads to the saddle.
