Vorderes Umbal-Törl is a saddle at an altitude of 2926 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Kleine-Philipp-Reuter-Hütte, located 0.9km south-southeast. And bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is also close by. 8 km northwest of the saddle there is lake Eissee. 1.7 km southwest from the saddle there is glacier Rötkees - Vedretta Rossa, 2 km south from the saddle there is also glacier Welitzkees.
