The saddle is located 4 km east-northeast from the center of San Vito di Cadore and 5 km northeast from the center of Borca di Cadore and 0.9 km south of peak Cime Scotter. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Pietro Galassi, located 0.5km east-northeast. And bivouac Bivacco Voltolina is also close by. 2.0 km southeast from the saddle there is glacier Ghiacciaio dell'Antelao. The saddle is located southeast of the valley Valle di San Vito.
