Hochegg is 2229 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 2 km north-northwest of peak Felbe and vzhodno-severovzhodno above the mountain pasture Vied Alm. The nearest mountain hut is Pfitscher-Joch-Haus, located 4km northeast. A little further is Obere Engbergalm. 6 km north from the summit there is glacier Stampflkees, 7 km east from the summit there is also glacier Weißkarferner - Vedretta della Quaira Bianca. The peak is located above the valley Pfitscher Tal - Val di Vizze. The peak is located above the valley Pfitscher Tal - Val di Vizze.
