The peak is located 4 km south-southwest from the center of Mühlwald - Selva dei Molini and 5 km northeast from the center of Ast and 1.1 km southwest of peak Zwölferspitz - Cima Dodici. The nearest mountain hut is Tiefrastenhütte, located 4km west-northwest. Obermoaralm is a bit further away. The peak is located north of the valley Pustertal - Val Pusteria.
