Pfaffenschneidkopf - Cima del Prete is 2918 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Birnlückenhütte - Rifugio Brigata Tridentina, located 2km east-southeast. Closer is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte, which is located 1.5km to the southwest. 3 km west of the peak there is lake Eissee. 4 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Östliches Kerrakees, 4 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Hohenaukees. The peak is located south-southwest of the valley Krimmler Achental.
